< Shadow Work

Preface

I found myself conflicted on if I wanted to add this piece or not- I don't consider it to be in the usual style of what I write. Rather, it is an experiment, copying the style of CA Conrads Book of Frank which I highly reccomend. Even though it is short, I fear too short, it stuck to me, begging to be let free and added to my collection. So, like a parent nursing a squealing baby, I have obliged its cries.

Shadow Work

He has become

afraid

of his own shadow.

He punches

every lightbulb

in sight and

lives in darkness.

He lays in bed for

hours and never

tends to his

bleeding

knuckles.
